When I went to sign in Ian to the MEVyT program, I’ve seen the option to do it online but they didn’t allow him to sign in because he’s too young and supposedly needed to complete the books.
Yesterday I called to know Ian’s first exam result (got a 10) and they asked me to go take all the books back to put Ian in the online program.
We are happy because Ian was getting bored with the books and the online program is much simplified. Today we was signed in and he started with the exercises.
I understand why they didn’t want to sign him in the online program, they weren’t sure how much knowledge he had. Now that they are and he has that option.
If you have kids with enough knowledge try to get them into the online program. It isn’t faster because the exams are in the same order than the other program but they won’t take much time with the exercises as with the books.

UPDATE Sep. 5th:
Today after giving the exams we were given the news that Ian can not continue online, he has to continue with the books.
They explained that it is very rare for a child his age to have so much knowledge and must return to the other mode. The INEA does not let the teacher re-enroll him online.
The downside of the system is that having the tools they are not organized, but the good thing is that we continue forward, no matter what mode!
